I just had to post this now cause it is funny now and I am not sure if it will be in the morning. I went with Rob to hang out with the guys. Rob has been with them for 2 days and I was a little lonely so I decided to go.... We played 3 games of poker I won the first and Rob won the last.... we came out of there with 200 bucks. So the owner of the house Dave wasn't there for about the first hour or so. He shows up introduces himself to me and then proceeds to say to me that this is a bachelor house and that if I go to the washroom I have to put the toilet seat up...... Lol! I was so embarrassed and was laughing so hard thinking is this how it feels when a girl says that to a guy? also keep in mind there was about 13 guys in the house.... some were family. All in all it was a good night.

This post is for those people who read and shake their head at the work drama I have, and your probably thinking I knew she wouldn't last. I can talk about this because not many people know where I work. There was a new rule that went around the office in an e-mail stating that 2 people who smoke can not go out for a smoke together. I think that rule is unfair just because a person smokes means they can not go for a break with any one who does. So the people that I would want to go for a break with are the ones who smoke. Me and the other girl just ignored the rule and continued to go out. I was just disobeying the rule because I am not 12 and don't live with my parents, that is what parents are allowed to do come up with crazy rules and enforce them.I was approached today by one of the partners of the firm and she told me how she felt about it, I didn't argue and when she asked me my opinion I told her that no one should be able to go for a break together then. And I also said that me and the other girl would just go for a walk. There was a few other things said all along those lines. I said that there should be a new rule then that no junk food is allowed in the office cause I am trying to loose weight and it is not supporting me when people around me are allowed to eat junk food. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that is what this is all about. One person quit in the office so they are enforcing that no one is allowed to smoke together so that they are supporting the ONE who did quit. Which I respect but it's not like I was flaunting it or going out 10 times a day. I went 3 times a day. That was at about 11:00 this morning. So at 4:00 the one partner who does smoke and the one who I work for let me go saying that it was about what happened earlier, but really he didn't need to give me a reason cause I was still on probation. I was honest with them and at least I didn't go ok and not go for smoke breaks with other people until my 3 months was up and then just go out after the probation period cause then they wouldn't have been able to let me go for the smoking issue. I am not upset about it, I guess it wasn't meant to be.
What is it that lawyers do for a living? They fight for the principal of the matter, like in a custody case they fight that both parents get to see the kids, it is out of principal. That is what I was doing, fighting for the principal of the fact but I was disrespectful, they just realized that this was not a fight that they could win so just eliminate the problem.

My dad, Leslie, Rob and I went to Banff this weekend for country in the Rockies. We had a good time, we saw the band Hey Romeo on Saturday night and we went on the Gondola on Saturday. We did LOTS!! of shopping and just relaxed. The hot springs was closed which really sucked cause I was looking forward to going. They are doing renovations. All I have are these pics because I FORGOT MY CAMERA!!I am not impressed that I forgot it.
On Saturday I went shopping for a new outfit to wear to the concert and I came out of the dressing room and there was a 12 year old girl trying on the same thing as me lol, not just once but 3 times..... it was so funny. She stayed in my hotel and at the end of the night I saw her but she didn't choose the same one as me.

Rob is doing ok now. He had a cold during his last chemo treatment and so after he felt aweful and it made his cold worse. Normally when Rob gets a cold he has sniffles for 3 days and he is fine but this time he had aches and pains and a stuffy nose and coughed alot, so he was saying to me that he was in so much pain, and all I said back to him was welcome to the real world this is how most people feel when they get a cold.... he says back.... that sucks. Of course he only felt like crap for a day and a half. He has an amazing immune system, I hope the boys get it too.
I got a call last Thursday from a lawyers office and he was talking to me asking me questions on the phone and then asked when can I meet you and I told him I was available anytime Friday so he hired me and I started working there Friday, then on Wednesday I called in sick I didn't want to but I had all the symptoms of the H1N1 and I was scared, so when I had enough energy I went to the doctor and he said that I have Bronchitis possibly Bronchial Phenomia. I called my boss Thursday morning to tell him and he suggested that I take off until Monday and get better that way I am not pushing myself too much. He is very understanding. What a way to start a new job, take the first week off. This has taken so much out of me, my back hurts, I have a headache, all I do is sleep and I am still so tired.

We went to Pizza Hut on Friday night for supper. My mom had the boys so it was Rob, my dad, Leslie and Deanna. We ordered 24 wings and 3 large pizzas, and we all ordered a pepsi, or diet pepsi. My dad had to go up to the front to ask for a refill. We sat for an hour and a half waiting for supper. We asked and they said 5 minutes so 10 minutes later I went up and asked for a refill for Rob and said to the store manager that he had 60 seconds to have food on our table or we were walking out..... 60 seconds later we got up and left and the food was not ready like they said it was, as we were walking out I had a few words with the manager he says to me it is first come first serve and it takes 20 minutes to cook the wings, I said to him where is the food I don't see it and I left. We were talking about it later and Leslie says well if they only take 20 minutes then we should have had them an hour ago. We went to Atlas Pizza for supper, it is a pub, but they have good wings and pizza. When we went in there was only a booth for the 5 of us and the waitress asked some people to move so we could have the bigger table, she had 9 full tables and the girl at pizza hut had 3 including us. We had wings within 20 minutes of sitting down and our pizza within 35 minutes of sitting down. I called the store manager of Pizza Hut and complained and all he offered me was $40.00 off if I dine in.

Seth, Tyler and I went out yesterday and they saw me doing my hair so they wanted me to do their hair too, that is what the pictures are, lol they are so cute.
Yesterday Rob and I went to the hospital to get his blood tested to see if he could have chemo today and they said that his white blood cell count was too low it was .04, and .00 is the lowest. White blood cells help to fight infection, with it that low the chemo will just wipe out the rest of them. They have this really good drug that will bring his white blood count up and it is super expensive, we have coverage of 80% and that still left us with $185.00 to pay every 2 weeks because he will be on this drug for the rest of the time. I was so upset I started crying I think it was because of sudden bomb being dropped on us, last week we went for the same test and the doctors didn't think that Rob would need to be on the drug. The nurse then told us of this program that if we qualify they will pay the 20% that our plan does not cover. We then went to the hospital pharmacy with our form and the pharmacist said that we should just call them right away and that we could just do it over the phone..... 45 minutes later the company says that we have to pay $100.00 every time and that they will pay the rest, again we can not afford that every 2 weeks for the next 6 months. I mean we would have found a way but because he needed it but we don't have credit cards so it would have made it difficult. Rob needed the drug immediately because his white blood count was so low. Another 30 minutes later we called them back and they assessed again and said that they would cover the whole amount for us, WOW!! we were so happy, and I was so impressed that the pharmacist stayed late to help us figure this out. They went over and above their job to help us they could have told us to go home and call the drug company and come back tomorrow, I think they recognized that his white blood count was low and that was an issue.
You would think it is all good and done now right? Wrong!! The drug is to administered like a flu shot or insulin shot, and you have to do it at home by yourself. I was freaking out thinking that I would have to give the needle to Rob. Then on the way home I remembered that Leslie (step mom) was a nurse and that she probably gave lots of needles so we called her and she said that yes she could do it.
Rob has to have it for 3 days in a row every 2 weeks. Rob called me this morning and asked how many Tylenol he could take, one of the side effects of the drug is your bones are sore, he is in a lot of pain, and will be every time he has to take it which is tonight, tomorrow night and then all over again in 2 weeks.
It feels like we are walking in the dark about everything that we are going through it feels like I don't know the first thing about anything. They tell us to watch for a headache so Rob gets one and then we call and they say oh he is ok check his temperature and if it is fine then he can have tylenol and the only thing he can take is tylenol he can't have and aspirin or an advil cause they have blood thinners in them. At this time we can't look into the future for even a week, we have been asked what are you doing for Christmas and we have no idea it is too far away, will we even have a house then?electricity? heat?, my doctor is not returning the insurance forms so that we can submit them to our mortgage company. Which reminds me I should call the mortgage company and see if there is anything else we can do about it...... good news there is I can take the forms to the doctor who is treating him for the cancer and he will fill it out for sure.
Ok now I am all worked up so I have to go now

Well things seem to be ok with Rob, he is really tired though. He went to work today and I spoke with him and he seemed ok.
I am currently unemployed, I quit my job on Friday, I wont post why cause that could lead to problems, I am looking for another job though and have handed out resumes. I think I should switch careers, I want to be a wedding planner but the most difficult thing is to get reputation. I have done 2 weddings, some birthday parties and 2 bridal shower parties I love it. I applied for an internship to be a wedding planner but they only choose 1 per year and they don't start looking until November, here's to hoping.
