Seth's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday Seth turned 2, I didn't really have anything planned until the weekend, but things turned out really nice. We had cake and sang Happy Birthday..... I think his 2 favorite presents were drumsticks and a remote controlled train engine.... well and the other present he will like in about 16 years is a contribution to his college fund. Here are some pictures from yesterday.
It is crazy how fast they grow up. It seemed like yesterday all Seth said was Juice and Kitty, now he is saying so much, he is actually having somewhat of a conversation with me.... it goes something like this "Mommy", I go "Sethy", "Mommy" "Sethy" "Mommy""Sethy" "Mommy" "WHAT!!" lol, then we both laugh and he goes "Wheres Daddy?" I say "At work" "Wheres Daddy?" "At work" "Wheres Daddy?" and that is when I give up... lol!! funny kid. You chuckle at this... and yes it is funny until you hear it for an hour straight.

The Sultans Tent

We went to the Sultans Tent on Friday for Valentine's diner.... I don't like going out on Valentine's Day because it is too busy and there is always this unspoken rule that you have to act a certain way and it seems fake to me.
The Sultans Tent was awesome. For those of you who have never been there you have to eat with your hands only.... they don't even offer you utensils. There are spoons that come with the dishes but they are too big to eat with, they are just for serving. The food is Moroccan, my favorite was an appetizer, it had chicken and spices with an icing sugar and cinnamon coating on top. When the waiter brought me the soup in the bowl that I am drinking from in the picture.... it looks like a really big tea cup. Anyway the waiter says to me that I am going to want to pick out the chicken and the chick peas cause they are the biggest, lol then we all start laughing cause I knew he was pulling our leg.

Then on Valentines Day we went over to Craig's house, we were supposed to go and look at the ice sculptures in Lake Louise but Craig and Isabella were sick, so I made breakfast, heart shaped pancakes and heart shaped eggs, LOL!!

Our newest addition

I just got a turtle today, he is the cutest thing. I had one at Christmas 2002, but it died shortly after I got him, we went away and asked our neighbors to watch our animals and feed them, and when we came back the turtle was dead. So I guess this is my second chance.
We are trying to decide between two names either Micheal Angelo, for those of you who don't know he is a Ninja Turtle, LOL!! or Yoki.
This turtle is really awesome, he is sofriendly. The other one I had would always hide when you came around or picked him up. My favorite part is they eat anything that their mouth can fit around and that includes the little feeder fish.... it is so cool when they dive down from their perch to snatch a fish.

DQ Ice Cream

We had Dairy Queen last night and Seth wanted some so I asked him to go and get a spoon and Rob was helping him.... this is the spoon that Seth brought to me.... I was laughing so hard.
